Responsibilities/tasks
- Technical responsibility for product design and development, in line with client requirements and applicable rules & regulations.
- Responsible for engineering budget and timeline.
- Develop the products design and technology.
- Develop design requirements & criteria’s.
- Support sales with technical solutions, calculations and dimensioning for new products.
- Perform conceptual design studies for new projects and products.
- Execute functional analysis and design reviews.
- Recognize risks and variations, suggest solutions and report to the management.
Technical Manager Offshore Cranes Job Requirements
Your profile
- Masters of Science in Engineering, Mechanical, Marine, Structural, Automation or similar.
- Experience in developing offshore cranes and winches at senior level.
- Good knowledge of customer requirements for subsea cranes and offshore cranes.
- Knowledge of calculations for rotating machinery, gearboxes, rack and pinion transmissions etc.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel worldwide, occasionally.
