In this challenging position you will facilitate workshops which will reveal poor diagnostics in new designs and assist architects and designers with the diagnostics requirements definition using the diagnostics competence. Furthmore you will guide engineers on best diagnostics practices and processes for an effective diagnostics tools and methods usage. Finally, you will develop and implement diagnostic solutions which will increase the product's robustness.
Job Description
As an ASML Diagnostics Competence Engineer you'll contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the company by influencing processes and products availability enabling a higher productivity for our customers.Using your mix of technical, creative and interpersonal skills, you'll identify, specify and co-design product's diagnostic requirements and steer the implementation using expert's knowledge and processes.
Main responsibilities:
- Aligning with Availability stakeholders on expectations and status;
- Driving and writing specification;
- Collecting and implementing feedback from stakeholders;
- Facilitate workshops and enable brainstorming leading to solutions;
- Issue Release Notes for tools and Knowledge transfers for processes.
Context of the position The sector Development & Engineering aims to increase product and process robustness in ASML by providing strong support in projects for new product introduction.The department of Service & Manufacturing Technology has the competence and drives the necessary industrialization solutions, related to Reliability, Availability, Manufacturability and Serviceability (RAMS), into ASML's products from the moment of their conception until they meet the required Customer's specification and expectation.
The Diagnostics Competence team is responsible for the Diagnostics Tools and Processes used for effectively diagnosing all ASML products.
ASML - Diagnostics Engineer Job Requirements
Bachelor or Masters Degree in engineering
Experience
- 0 - 4 years of experience;
- Affinity with Service activities and specifically diagnostics;
- Broad scope (software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure);
- Capable of analyzing new or existing designs for identifying critical reliability gaps that can be resolved using diagnostics;
- Familiar with ASML Design or V model development processes;
- Presenting topics to large audience.

- Effective communication, interpersonal and team building skills;
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
- Efficient time handling, task prioritization and deadlines meeting;
