International Innovation Analyst – based in Apeldoorn

Your challenge
It is your primary responsibility to promote the innovation strategy within BDR Thermea. You proactively use the innovation process to gather, scout and evaluate new ideas. You support the Innovation Director in managing the innovation activities to ensure new ideas are exploited for the advantage of the company and therefore are contributing to our future.
Your job
Our sector is made up of both mature and new technologies to be evaluated and/or improved. Below activities will all be within the context of energy transformations for commercial and domestic climate markets.
- You have a global overview of the innovation process and activities of the department
- You work with other departments to explore, investigate and analyse new ideas
- You thoroughly analyse and evaluate all data relating to new ideas
- You are a linking pin between technical and marketing on new ideas
- You produce preliminary business cases for consideration by the company
You directly report to the Group Innovation Director. You will be based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, but will be required to travel for approximately 50% of your working time. Travel will mainly be in Europe, but can also be global.
International Innovation Analyst Job Requirements
- Your professional experience reflects a high proficiency in analytical skills
- You have a professional background in a technical, product-oriented environment, mainly in energy and/or thermal exchange
- Your working knowledge includes you being able to evaluate concepts/projects/prototypes from the technical as well as the commercial perspective
- Your education and/or professional experience reflects a sound understanding of Marketing Research and Value Propositions
- You are used to working in an English language business environment
- You have good communicative and influencing skills to make sure ideas are actually being implemented
