Construction manager (french speaking) Job Description

Are you the perfect French speaking representative within the environment of our customer to execute our projects in a successful way?

As a Construction Manager, you will have full responsibility for the successful execution of one of our major projects. We expect you to have an independent and customer focused working approach, with the right skill to manage projects with values from € 50 to € 150 million.

You take ownership over all site related challenges and acknowledge a wide scope of site based responsibilities.
You are proactive in reporting and resolving logistic, technical or organisational problems and have good communication with the customer about progress, out of scope work, non-conformities, timely payments and all other site related issues.

During the preparation phase, you will provide a realistic installation plan to make sure that key targets like time, budget, quality, safety and functionality are achieved. In the realisation phase, you will have overall responsibility for all site installation businesses in close co-operation with your multi-disciplinary site-based team.

This team consists of site managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and local staffing who work together in an international setting to successfully execute our projects and ensure our customers are satisfied. You will manage all site related HR issues, local labour and local costs regarding budget and contracts.
You will report directly to the project manager or project director.

Construction manager (french speaking) Job Requirements

Your profile:

• Higher level education (HBO) on industrial or electrical engineering
• Knowledge of the English and French language
• 5 years of relevant working experience in managing major projects (scope of € 50 - € 150 million)
• Knowledge of material handling systems
• Willing to move to the location of our project for appr. 2 to 4 years
