Within the Service & Sales Belux organization of Agfa Healthcare IT department, you will be working in the Imaging IT deployment team as Service Operations Engineer. This means you are an important link with the realization of new IT  implementations within the Belgium and Luxembourg hospitals.
 
You will be working within the Operations Team. You will work both on site and remotely.
 
As IT Service Operations Engineer you are responsible for:
 

• The preparation, analysis, installation, configuration and optimization of the Agfa Healthcare IT products according the issues quality procedures, within existing customer set-ups or new installations.
• Executing, implementing and monitoring all assigned responsibilities within the project team
• Adequately fixing or reporting issues and messages to the client during the different project phases.
• Performing preventive maintenance and technical follow-ups with customers.
• (Remotely) installing, configuring, restoring and adapting the systems at the customer site.
• The solution should cooperate and communicate with clients and other members of the BeLux team (Operations - Support - Project Management - (Pre-) Sales).
• Reporting accurately and registering your activity.
• Sharing knowledge and experience with other team members or with customers.

IT Field Service Operations Engineer Job Requirements

Profile 

• You have a bachelor degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• You have several years of IT experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• You have a thorough knowledge of and experience in relational databases including Oracle and MS SQL.
• You are familiar with the MS Windows operating systems in a client-server environment. Experience with Unix is an asset.
• You have a good basic knowledge about networking, TCP / IP, routing, and its structure.
• You are familiar with Storage solutions such as SAN and NAS.
• You have knowledge of the healthcare standards like DICOM and HL7 or are willing to acquire this knowledge.
• You have some experience with VB scripting, IIS, HTML, XML.
• You are very customer focused.
• You have strong communication skills.
• You have strong analytical skills.
• You can cope with stress and work independently.
• You work accurately and structured.
• You are flexible and willing to participate in our 24/7 guard duty.
• You will travel frequently and work regular on different customer locations in our region.
• You speak fluent French, English and Dutch.
