Electrical Designer CD&E (Concept Development& Experimentation) Job Description

As an Electrical Designer, you are responsible for the design and engineering of the electrical part of our products, such as production equipment and mechatronic applications.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team
Participate in the design of the electrical infrastructure of the project
Participate in reviews of system specifications and design
Specify and maintain the documentation of the different electrical subsystems
Specify, document and execute tests to ensure that electrical products satisfy the requirements
Do the selection of electrical components and subsystems (e.g. mains distribution, power supply, computer systems, PLC's, drives, cabling, interconnections, panels and cabinets, safety components)
Execute and/or guide the electrical engineering and the realization of the electrical part of the Technical Product Documentation
If applicable manage outsourcing of electrical subsystems
Guide the realization of the electrical subsystems
Take responsibility for the electrical safety, EMC requirements and other international standards

Electrical Designer CD&E (Concept Development& Experimentation) Job Requirements

A degree on bachelors level (Electrical Engineering, for example industrial automation, electro mechanics).
Min 3 years of relevant experience, experience with ECAD (e.g. EPLAN P8)
Knowledge of relevant standards on safety and EMC A team player with good communication skills and capable to coordinate your own work and that of others.
Affinity with mechanical engineering, control engineering and mechatronics.
The drive to grow to a role as System Designer in which you will have a leading position in the team.
Good knowledge of Dutch (plus) and English languages
