Location: Cambridgeshire

Our client is a leading technology product development and business consultancy practice. Their client coverage is global; they work at the cutting edge in creating and developing intellectual property and they provide intelligent solutions & strategy advice to existing or developing technologies & products.

Due to business growth, they are now looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to join an innovative team focused on the design and development of specific products. The successful candidate will be expected to work within this team to develop design solutions to complex technical problems.
 
 

Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements

·         First or 2.1 degree in mechanical engineering or related subject from a leading institution, plus post-graduate engineering experience
·         Working knowledge of mechanisms design, thermal management and fluidics
·         Previous experience of 3D CAD, such as Wildfire and Solidworks, as well as rapid prototyping methods
·         Ability to develop innovative solutions
·         Experience in optical systems, FEA/CFD and fluid system design a distinct advantage
·         Full rights to work in the UK
