A Software Engineer is required to join an established inkjet technology company, which supplies industrial inkjet print-heads and develops a range of inkjet products.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and validation of the software controlling these print-heads, adhering to specific standards and deadlines.

You will be required to produce modular and maintainable code, and find solutions to complex software and systems problems.

The Software Engineer will be expected to work closely alongside field application, electronics and software engineers, in order to facilitate and assist customers’ use of print-heads and test programmes.

You must be a diligent and focused individual with the ability to adapt to new situations and work under pressure.

Software Engineer Job Requirements

• First or 2.1 degree in relevant discipline
• At least five years application development experience using C++, C# and Visual Studio 05 under .NET
• Previous experience of user interface development, API development, revision control and change tracking system
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving

• Experience in Ethernet, IP networking, USB
• Database and embedded experience
