Mechanical Engineer

As a mechanical engineer at Cematec Engineering you get full responsibility in contributing to the quality, profitability, knowledge and effective execution of office and outsourcing projects. The Mechanical Engineer relieves the customer. You are responsible for the translation of concepts into the design and you will report to the Manager Engineering.
 
Key tasks and responsibilities:
 

• Development of design from a concept taking into account relevant requirements such as quality, cost, manufacturability, safety and throughput.
• Contribute to the quality and completeness of the functional specifications.
• Checking drawings.
• Supporting the construction or production of a product or machine (part).
• Create and verify calculations.
• Writing of instruction and documentation.
• Create and monitor planning, including timely communication with stakeholders in order to take appropriate corrective action.
• Steering and coaching team members.
• Showing initiative, identifying potential deviations within the project (time/quality) and making suggestions for improvement.

Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements

• Bachelor/Master mechanical engineering degree.    
• Experience with 3D modeling (Solid Works/Inventor/Siemens NX)
• Independent and flexible attitude.
• Taking responsibility for own work and that of team members.
• Coaching skills.
• Involved in the project and the organization.
• Communicative (verbal and written) and social skills.
• Customer focus and the ability to negotiate and convince (colleagues as well as customers).
• Creative.
