As an ASML Architect you will be a key player in a very fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Primarily you will be involved in the budgeting, modelling, design and realization of the overall CO2 optical beam path.In this process you will be involved in starting and conducting feasibility studies, followed by specification and design and ending with realization and integration.
During all these intermediate steps you will be cooperating with other disciplines and suppliers where it is expected that you will attend several meetings to discuss design aspects, analyze system problems, and support and plan issue resolution with peers. You will be able to present your findings and your results to management. Finally you get the chance and you are encouraged to integrate with the dynamic and diverse ASML community.
Besides this, you will interact daily with a community of 4,000 like-minded professionals.
You will play a central role within a multidisciplinary team that works on the overall CO2 optical beam path. Main
PhD Physics with work experience (focused on optics)
Minimum of 2 year relevant experience in a multi-disciplined design task related to complex optical modules. Knowledge of robust design of opto-mechanical modules and the functional control of these modules is expected as well as hands-on experience.Experience of the behavior of CO2 optics in laser applications is preferred.
Strong self-propelling behavior. Good (English) communication skills in technical and managerial interactions.
Well-disciplined in all aspects of the design process.
Good analytical skills and drive for quality.
Used to take initiative to reach difficult goals.
