Operational Aptitude Engineer (m/f) Job Description

for a permanent position in Toulouse, France

Your Duties:

• You will participate in the technical and operational studies related to the analysis and update of the main documentation (AFM, BICO, QRH, MMEL, CCOM)
• You will be responsible for collecting information from the design office, the manufacturers team, flight testers and the training center to define the content of operational manuals
• You will write the technical and operational files to maintain knowledge of justifications for changes in operational documentation
• You will propose the contents of the operational documentation in accordance with the respect of writing rules, ensuring the coherence of the information between the different manuals for the different aircraft variants, and to assure the validation of the services concerned (EV, Training, BE specialists)
• You will be responsible for editing and updating the changes to the electronic check list software on the aircraft
• You will ensure the updating of the contents of the operational documentation in accordance with the production plan
• You will participate in the operational support of the client companies by ensuring the traceability of the answers to the APC (Aircraft Publication Queries)

Operational Aptitude Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in engineer specialized in aeronautics (or equivalent) and profound experience in the field
• Proficiency with aircraft operational documentation, airline operations, aircraft performance, aeronautical regulations applicable to aircraft manufacturers and operators, and document production technologies (XML structured documentation)
• Operational experience in airline, pilot (minimum PPL) and safety would be a plus
• You have a strong team spirit, you are autonomous and rigorous
• Good communication skills are required
• You also have the ability to see the big picture
