Systems Engineer Job Description

• You participate in international projects to launch new production platforms and further optimize current production and/or supply chain flows;
• You install and control the settings of our in-house developed production system (VIPER) and further improve the ordering and scheduling for Operations and Supply Chain;
• You perform route-cause analysis and provide the business with long term solutions;
• You support local and global project teams to provide efficient IT solutions to business challenges;
• You offer Systems Administration support if needed.

Systems Engineer Job Requirements

• HBO level, minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
• You have either international experience and/or experience dealing with global partners and are used to work in a dynamic environment;
• You have good project management skills;
• Knowledge of desktop and server support for Microsoft operating systems and applications, hardware installation and troubleshooting, TCP/IP and basic network concepts, and printing technologies (Laser, Thermal, Inkjet, etc.) is required;
• You are a team player, customer-focused and have a cultural sensitivity;
• Be able to communicate effectively in English and Dutch. Strong focus on the customer;
• Knowledge and experience with ITIL and/or PRINCE2;
• Knowledge of one or more of the following is advantageous but not critical (SQL, C++, Java, SAP);
• Dynamic, pro-active and responsible are not just words in a dictionary for you.
