Your mission is to ensure that the software of the SICS platform is introduced smoothly to our internal users.

Job Description
In the startup phase of the project you ensure that the users of the new or changed basic software function are known, you help to determine the impact for them and guard that their needs are covered by the requirements and designs. You will create a software integration plan which should allow for a smooth integration of the feature. During the test phase of the feature you will be one of the testers. Once the new or changed feature is ready you will provide support to the developers in the introduction of the new feature. During the introduction phase you will be contact person for issues and it is your assignment to manage that they get resolved.Overall it is combination of requirements engineering, planning, testing, escalation support role which makes it an exciting assignment.

Context of the PositionThis position is within the Software Machine Control & Infrastructure department, which is a part of the Sector Development & Engineering. You will be assigned to projects that typically have a duration of 2-4 years.

HBO level computer science or software engineering, system engineering, or equivalent

Experience

• At least 5 years' experience as software engineer in a large company
• Understanding of software architecture concepts
