As Design Engineer you are responsible for constructing complex turbine components. You construct and model the turbine components from the three basic aspects: construction, function and operation. Using different available techniques, such as 3D and CT scanning, flow testing and material analysis. You are able to think projectually, processually, (self) critically and customer-oriented, in addition, you have an excellent three-dimensional insight, being analytical and a structured worker.
You have a great sense of responsibility and translate results in delivering quality. In addition, you have a technical education at a Bachelor or Master level, which takes into account mechanical engineering or equivalent. You have knowledge of the well-known international drawing standards and experience with 3D designs. Experience with Unigraphics modeling is a pretext, as well as experience with modeling of complex (double-curved) shapes.
