Our client is a major international high-tech company. The development, operation and maintenance of complex information, communication and electronic systems (plant) in 2-digit million range are key points of their corporate strategy. Therefore, efficient process management is essential. As part of the holistic Enterprise Management Processes, Change Management (change management, configuration management), takes a central role to ensure the long-term economic success of a plant. Moreover, this area is assigned to be the new central point of correspondence. For the international customer service team in Bern, we are looking for a dedicated, independent personality with strong communication skills (m/f) with a lot of understanding of new technologies, organizational and economic aspects.
You are responsible for the process owner for the changes of a complex system during the use phase, the implementation of inquiry through the acquisition, development and integration, to delivery to the customer. As an implementation specialist you will work closely together in the first phase with Solution and Systems Engineering and also Bid Management to deliver a technical but also commercial soltuion to the customer. In the next phase you monitor the progress of the implementation of configuration changes, in close collaboration with the development and system construction. In this hub function you lead and initiate the change or Critical Review / Material Review Board, and you ensure that there are only winners in your Change Project. In addition to this operational part, you also like to do the creation, development, establishment and modification of concepts for configuration management in complex international large-scale projects in coordination with the departments and partners.
You have an extensive technical degree, ideally as an engineer in electrical engineering, micro technology or as a mechanical engineer. As a generalist you have no reservations to participate actively in disciplines such as control technology, hardware or software, and design. You are familiar with the process management in engineering and configuration management in particular. Phrases such as CMII, CM2, V-model, etc. are familiar to you. You have the ability to assess complex configuration relationships and their diversity. ERP, SAP, and ideally, Product Lifecycle Management PLM, PDM, are the tools you know. You are a good communicator and conversation partner to convince people on a skilful and confident manner, in German or English.
