Duties

• Tasks as Full Stack Software Developer in the frontend and in the backend area, going through all project phases such as concept, design, implementation, testing, documentation until delivery
• setting up and sustaining of a test-, build/release- and representation system as well as setting up and supervising of the release plan
• Concept, design and realization activities to build a standardized Bühler IoT Platform using Microsoft Azure
• Implementation of software for example for the device-to-cloud connectivity, the capability for device management and its device configuration from the cloud
• Implementation of an IoT Web Portal (including e.g. Device Management)

Software Developer Job Requirements

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science (ETH, FH) or apprenticeship in Information Technology with further education
• At least one year of relevant experience in agile and Object-oriented Software Development as well as Software Design Patterns, Cloud-Patterns (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and IoT-Patterns
• In-depth knowledge of IoT Technologies and Platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS as well as in at least one OO high-language ((e.g. C#-Programming and .NET-Framework, C-Programming)
• Knowhow in Web-Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript), including knowledge in the commonly used frameworks (e.g. JQuery, Angular2, Bootstrap) and the runtime environment (node.js) or packaging manager such as NPM as well as in Test-Management (V-Modell in Software Testing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German would be an asset.
• Motivated, creative individual capable of operating in a high volume/high change environment and excellent communication skills
