Java Developer Job Description

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build and maintain an efficient, reusable as well as reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance and quality of the applications
• Assist in maintaining code quality, organization and automation

Java Developer Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science and experience of 2 to 5 years in a similar role
• Experience in Java J2EE and knowledge of frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
• Knowledge of one of the application servers such as Weblogic, Glassfish or JBoss
• Skills like JSP, Servlets, JDBC and EJB as an advantage
• Knowledge of financial services sector as a plus
• Proficiency in French and English
