Engineer (m/f) for large-scale Solar Project Grid Connections Job Description

As an engineer for large-scale solar project grid connections, your tasks will include:

• Participating in worldwide projects from the conceptual phase up to operation
• Supporting project development with technical expertise during the early stages of projects and in new markets
• Preparing, reviewing and evaluating MV & HV design documents
• Network modelling in DIgSILENT PowerFactory
• Qualifying and managing external engineering consultants
• Coordinating the technical aspects of inviting subcontractors to tender for interconnection infrastructure projects
• Coordinating subcontractors during the design and execution of projects
• Aggregating, managing and producing documentation and information for management, clients, lenders and advisors
• Meeting utilities and stakeholders worldwide for technical discussions
• Coordinating and communicating with third-party technical advisors
• Checking and validating on-site installations

Engineer (m/f) for large-scale Solar Project Grid Connections Job Requirements

• Academic degree in the field of electrical engineering, renewable energies or similar, focusing on electrical engineering
• Preferably, experience in grid connection or energy projects
• Ideally, knowledge of DIgSILENT PowerFactory
• Competent use of MS Office applications
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn
• Languages: German and English (native speaker or excellent command), additional languages (Dutch, Spanish or French) welcome
