Repair & Maintenance Engineer Job Description

The client is active in high-tech machine construction and strongly focused on innovation and technology.
In this position you are responsible for cost and quality control on execution of repair and maintenance of the machine park and the means of production.

Tasks and responsibilities

• You are jointly responsible for the maintenance and management of the machine park and the installations in the buildings. You are both preventive and curative responsible for implementing this
• You ensure the availability of the parts and knowledge needed is to perform repairs and maintenance
• You are responsible for periodically measuring the machines
• Analyzing the reported faults by means of the analysis determine the priority of the repair
• Drafting repair methods and carrying them out
• Cares for new machines or installations to be purchased
• You keep a clear overview of the maintenance data for machines
• You instruct external maintenance technicians
• You are aware of the recent requirements for Safety and Occupational Health & Safety Environment
• You are flexible with regard to working hours

Repair & Maintenance Engineer Job Requirements

Profile candidate

• A course at  HBO (Bachelor) level, WTB. Supplemented with various courses in the direction of electronic controls, pneumatics and hydraulics
• At least 5 years of experience in a production environment
• Is communicatively strong
• Can work independently
• Has a good analytical ability
• Has a strong persuasion
