Group Lead Outsourced Activities Job Description

Introduction
Do you take the lead in getting technical development work outsourced to the various partners of the Machine Conditioning cluster. Are you able to get the work done for the internal project and meanwhile inspire the outsource partners? Job Mission
In the position of Manager Outsourced activities in the department of Operational capability development of the Machine Conditioning (MC) cluster, you are a key contributor to the execution of design work in all projects of the Machine Conditioning cluster contributing to the development of ASML’s lithographic products. You are driving the outsource partners on capacity, capability and quality on behalf of the project leaders of the MC cluster.
You pro-actively drive the development of the outsource partner to become a highly value long term partner. You will be the main stakeholder is supplier account teams. But above all, you will use your leadership and teamwork skills to solve problems and optimize performance. You will be reporting to the department manager MC Operational Capability Development.

Job Description
Your responsibilities 

• You will manage the outsource partners (co-developers) of the MC cluster, approximately 100 FTE.
• You are accountable for the onboarding of new outsource partners, as well as employees of those co-developers starting to work for MC.
• You are responsible for the development of the co-developer to become a pro-active solution provider for the MC cluster meeting the expectations of the project management on reliability and predictability.
• You are responsible for the quality of the work delivered by the employees of the co-developer. You will work closely with their representatives to assure high level of quality or improvements to achieve this. 
• You are accountable for a regular demand estimate on outsource activity, a strategy, and the implementation thereof, to meet that demand.

Group Lead Outsourced Activities Job Requirements

Education
Master or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in the area of heat and mass transfer.

Experience

• At least 10 years experience in developing, and designing complex multi disciplinary products.
• Solid theoretical and experimental experience in the discipline.
• Strong analytical skills, track record in teambuilding, stakeholdermanagement.
• Experience in managing a group of technical professionals either as project manager or line manager.

• Highly motivated team player with excellent social, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in an international multicultural setting.
• Ability to think and act on a strategic level.
• Analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude.
• Pro-active attitude.
• Fluent in English writing and speaking.
