This is the role
The Senior Process Engineer is a very diversified role. One focus area is to give input to projects from your process engineering knowledge and/or you steer the progression as a project manager during the frond-end-loading phase within multidisciplinary teams. Another part of the job is to identify and analyze technical issues concerning the safety of the process and you will recommend solutions to the management.

Analyzing complex issues and advising integral solutions is not something you have to do all alone. You work closely together with global R&D and corporate engineers. You also have the responsibility to judge potential projects on feasibility and argument towards the management. In order to be a reliable advisor, you need to analyze the data of production and systems, set up models of optimization and hand over the best tools to all plants.

Another dynamic part of this role is to give trainings to the engineers and support them with professional knowledge as best as possible. Besides training, you also share lessons learned gained from the issues and solutions from the past. On the base of the procedures from the Global Operational Excellence, you’re able to set and review standards and guidelines to reach the ultimate production process.

This is what you bring

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in chemical engineering (TU or HBO);
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable field of work;
• Fluent English and Dutch.
