This role is positioned in a new business segment called Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS) following the completion of the acquisition with A. Schulman. This new segment includes LyondellBasell’s legacy polypropylene compounds (PPC) business and the A. Schulman assets, Catalloy and polybutene-1.
This is the role
As a Manager Product Stewardship, you provide leadership expertise and knowledge to emerging business and regulatory issues related to Product Stewardship. Your focus is on Europe where, together with your team, you anticipate, follow and respond to complex regulatory issues whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple LyondellBasell business functions and within the global Product Stewardship organization.
You will be providing recommendations to business groups, sales, external customers, distributors, manufacturing facilities and R&D. You will serve a prominent role in external industry groups and trade associations dealing with Product Safety issues and you represent LyondellBasell before regulatory agencies as appropriate. You will have global program responsibilities while maintaining tactical implementation / support for facilities in the EU region. Together with your team of 4 specialists based in Bornem (Belgium) and Ferrara (Italy) you will get a lot of freedom to focus on improving our processes.
