Responsible for the engineering activities of Operator Training System (OTS) to provide value-added engineering solutions;
Ensure successful completion of design; achieve desired quality to meet all design review and internal audit requirements;
Manage project schedules to meet delivery timelines; Supports Project Managers and Sales in developing detailed engineering estimates and scoping deliverables for potential applications projects; Partners with the Project Manager to finalize project plan and facilitate project kick-off meeting internally or with the customer, if applicable; Provides overview and clear leadership to the engineering team in implementing the solution; Coordinates Remote Engineering, including: application testing, commissioning and hardware integration; Interfaces with Remote Engineering resources to ensure quality, cost and accurate deliverables; Anticipates changes in project deliverables and timing and works with the Project Manager to manage changes; Identifies project risk factors and defines actions to mitigate them; Assists the Project Manager in preparing progress reports, project audits, man hours planning, and documenting change orders; Partners with the Project Manager to measure and report on commercial aspects of projects internally and externally.

Academic Qualifications Bachelor / Honors Degree in Engineering with a strong background in Chemical Engineering; Degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years’ experience in modeling and implementing high fidelity training simulator in industrial process units (oil & gas, petrochemical, etc.); Knowledge and engineering experience in various control systems and applications such as DCS, ESD, APC, OMS, etc. will be advantageous; Detailed process understanding in the Oil and Gas Upstream market; Ability to read, interpret and rationalize discrepancies between PIDs, PFDs, and control logic; Understanding and knowledge of process unit start up and operating procedures; Significant experience working as part of a team in a project environment (required); Experience with steady state simulation, dynamic simulation or any advanced software application (required); Experience leading project or sub-teams (required); Extensive experience in interfacing with customers / end users.
