Our Client a global Pharmaceutical / Healthcare leader is seeking to recruit a New Product Introduction and Product Technology Manager for its facility in Sligo, Ireland.

Role & Responsibility
The NPI PT Manager will be responsible for managing the New Product Introduction and Product Technology Department at Sligo.  The Team will provide the site with specialist project management and Technical services including New Product Introduction and Process and Packaging technology support.  A key part of the role is to manage the NPI&PT/Production interfaces to effectively resolve technical matters and ensure appropriate NPI&PT resource availability to deliver projects and support routine operations.

The NPI PT manager will develop and implement NPI strategies and technology  objectives for the including  maintaining technical standards on the site to meet the requirements of regulatory groups, e.g. IMB.

The successful candidate will sit on The Site Leadership Team to define long term strategic goals deliver business objectives and assist in the day to day management of technical issues.
They will also develop and maintain an effective communication network with groups external to the site e.g. R&D, Primary sties, Process and Product Standards, Academic Institutions and Suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3rd Level Qualification  in relevant Science or Engineering Discipline
• Experience in NPI / Technogy Transfers in the same / similar category is essential -pharmaceutical and cosmetic products
• Thorough understanding of  Quality Assurance, Validation Principles, EHS and Regulatory (pharmaceutical and cosmetic) requirements
• Experience in People  & Team Management
• Proven track record of Delivering Results
• Effective Communicator
• Proven Track record in Project Management
• People Motivaton with the ability  to foster a culture of Innovation
• Financial & Budgetary management
• An understanding of any or combination of the following would be desirable suspension technology, rheology,microbiology, chemical engineering, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, API manufacturing,raw materials, packaging and manufacturing methods, equipment and plant.
