Manufacturing Engineer
Job description
To manage the routers (generate, amend, optimise and maintain) and cost-price analysis and differences reports. To analyse, detail, advise on and solve production-related issues.
Principal responsibilities:
• To monitor and optimise new and existing products and processes in the area of quality and efficiency by using data analyses (router times, rework). To advise the Cell Team on these matters;
• To prepare production orders for single and composite elements of own or foreign manufacture: mechanical (conventional and CNC-controlled machines) or non-mechanical;
• To determine the feasibility and achievability on the basis of the technical possibilities of the machine park, quality control of any required outsourcing;
• To prepare cost estimates and cost-benefit analyses for ‘make or buy’ decisions;
• To advise, support and consult with Engineering and the Cell Support Team on the possible optimisation of working methods, purchasing new means of production and/or operating software, product-technical aspects of existing and new products and outsourcing;
• To prepare test specifications (TSEL: Test Specification Etten-Leur) for products in consultation with Engineering;
• To analyse and report data for cost prices. This is for internal and external processes.

• A Higher Technical Education Diploma, preferably Mechanical Engineering;
• Good computer skills;
• Experience with AutoCAD/Pro-engineer drawing packages;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
