Work scope:

• Responsibility for new technology process of our products
• Create the innovation process
• Create an internal & external network
• Search internally & externally for new technologies
• Evaluate needed resources & time for new technology development
• Organize and structure the new technology ideas & suppliers (i.e. database)
• Development of roadmaps for mid & long term strategy
• Integrate new findings in future car projects as unique selling points
• Make development proposals for selected new technology applications
• Follow customers expectations and market development
• Evaluating of market research findings
• Gathering of competitors new technology information
• Anticipating of future market trends
• Follow up the development process of selected innovation
• Prepare decision making material
• Cooperation with the responsible counterpart in Korea

Manager m/f for New Technologies Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical, electronic or industrial engineering in combination with a strong technical know-how
• Minimum eight years experience in an automotive environment (OEM preferred)
• Passion for cars and a global overview of future technology and market trends
• Talent to structure a high amount of detailed information and you can react spontaneously and efficiently to unexpected request
• A very good command of English and cross cultural competence is necessary as you will work in an international and cross-functional organization
• Very good skills in Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
• Social competence and team spirit are necessary for a start with us in this position
• Skills in German or Korean language would be a plus
