As PHP Backend Developer, you have already gained relevant work experience and are a professional in backend programming. Knowledge in the fields of web services, caching, load balancing mechanisms and high-traffic web applications would be advantageous. An ambitious PHP team awaits you - one which acts as an interface to many departments.
 
Tasks:
 
- Implementation and further development of our backend systems (e.g., analysis and marketing)
- Optimization of our live systems
- Improvement and design of the existing software architecture (design patterns)
- Maintenance and expansion of the shop system
- Self-reliant programming and assistance in the design and implementation of complex, dynamic Internet projects
- Upgrading and remodeling of the internal database models
- Optimization and design of the existing software architecture
- Close cooperation with other departments - particularly with Analysis, Marketing and Payment

PHP Backend Developer (m/f) Job Requirements

Requirements:
 
- Completed training or higher education
- Several years of professional experience with large software projects
- Very good knowledge of PHP 5/MySQL
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML/CSS and JavaScript desirable
- Experience in dealing with frameworks (preferably Zend and jQuery) and modern web technologies
- Object-oriented programming style, using the MVC concept
- The ability to look outside the box and solve problems
- A sense of responsibility, commitment and an open, friendly character
- You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and you have a passion for games
