The Nutreco Poultry Research Centre is one of our research centres. It is located in Casarrubios del Monte,Spain. Its main task is the creation and development of novel nutritional concepts for poultry and rabbits.

Researcher Poultry Nutrition  

The job

• As a researcher at the Poultry Research Centre of Nutreco you develop nutrition tools, products and concepts for the operating companies of Nutreco. This is done in close cooperation with project leaders from Application & Solution Centres and project team members from the operating companies.
• In this position there will be a strong focus on young animal nutrition and health research and the development of research models
• You carry out nutritional and physiological studies at a scientific level
• You initiate and lead R&D projects, carry out literature studies, set up experiments at our own research facilities and transfer the acquired knowledge in reports and presentations
• You maintain and initiate contacts with universities/institutes and with our internal businesses

Researcher Poultry Nutrition Job Requirements

• You have a PhD degree in animal science. Alternatively, you have a MSc –degree in animal science or veterinary science with some years of working experience in the feed industry
• Your knowledge of nutrition, physiology and feed evaluation / ration calculation is above average and you combine this with the creativity to make this knowledge practically applicable
• You are a team player, expressing yourself  clearly when transferring knowledge and ideas  (i.e. oral presentations)
• You are research driven, analytically strong and result oriented
• Your English is fluent.
