What characterises this job?  

YOUR CHALLENGE:
You will contribute in the realization of coating equipment by specification of process requirements, optimization of the coatings and doing the commissioning and acceptance of systems at customer locations. Additionally you will develop and produce coating solutions for potential customers, transfer these into working production systems at the customers and being involved in development of new technology, This is executed in an environment with a variety of customers and projects, where own initiative, equipment knowhow, interaction and team work are vital for success.  

YOUR TEAM:
The process engineering group successfully develops PVD coating solutions in close cooperation with customers. This leads to the sales of over 350 PVD coating systems worldwide in automotive-, tool- and deco product area. Worldwide over 200 million automotive components are being coated yearly in Hauzer equipment. Hauzer has become one of the major suppliers of coating equipment worldwide.

You will be part of the Process Engineering Department, a team of 15 colleagues in Venlo and 3 in Asia. Your work in the product teams for tribological, tool and decorative coatings will be supervised by the Process Managers Tribo, Tool or Deco.

Process Engineer Job Requirements

What do we ask?

• Master degree (MSc) with at least 5 years of industrial experience in a similar role
• Thorough knowhow on basics of physics
• Interest and skills in troubleshooting equipment
• Passion for technology
• Experience in working in project teams
• Relevant experience in one of the following fields: PVD coatings for tools / development of tools / application specialist of shaft tools
• You master the English language fluently, both verbally and in writing; knowledge of the German language would be a most welcome addition
• Customer centric attitude, flexible and cooperative;
• Willingness to travel worldwide on a regular base (30%)
