Job Description:
- Act as Functional Safety Engineer (f/m) for Automotive Development
- Ensure that sensor products and development projects are conform to the standard ISO 26262 and meet the functional safety requirements to enable customer to build safe systems
- Support the development of functional & technical safety concepts
- This includes analysis of silicon design, like FTA, FMEDA and DFA, generation of according documents and reports, specification of supporting hardware as well as supporting preparation and delivering of functional safety plan and documentation material
- Support of project teams on development issues and give technical advice in area of safety expertise
- Act as primary customer contact for the topic of functional safety
Functional Safety Engineer (f/m) Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- University / University of applied sciences: degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Technical Kybernetics or comparable field of study required
Experience / Knowledge: - Work experience at least 5 years
- MS Office skills required
- MS Project skills desired
- Experience in Functional Safety Management (or worked on safety related products) required
- Knowledge regarding Safety Norms required
- Experience with safety critical application systems (breaks, steering e.g.) desired
- Experience with definition of development processes of HW and SW for embedded systems (ISO26262, CMMI, Automotive SPICE) and in Automotive Quality Management desired
