Space Applications Services performs space system and software engineering for the European Space Agency, National Space Agencies and the space industry. We are looking to recruit a motivated candidate to work in a dynamic international environment for the following position:
Robotics Software Engineer (S&GS-ROB-SWE)
Tasks and Responsibilities
The candidate will join the Robotics team as part of the System & Ground Segment department whose activities cover the complete product development lifecycle, for a range of European Space Agency (ESA) and European Commission (EC) funded robotics projects.
Initial assignment will involve:
The development of software and control systems (including novel interaction and user interface design) for a monitoring and control station infrastructure allowing multi-operator control of unmanned aerial, ground and marine vehicles (EC FP7 ICARUS project).
The position is located in our offices in Zaventem (Brussels) and will involve some international travel with short collocation periods for working with international partners.
