R&D Software Engineer - Eclipse Tool Development Job Description
Job Description:
You will be part of a skilled software engineering team, and will design and develop new features of SCADE System - our systems design and modeling tool suite. You will integrate our R&D team and will contribute to:
- Requirements analysis and prototyping
- Design, programming and integration of software components
- Measurement and improvement of the scalability and reliability of SCADE System
- Maintenance of deployed versions
- Evaluation of new and innovative software solutions and technologies
You will work closely with our marketing, validation, documentation and quality-assurance teams. The position is available at our Villeneuve Loubet (06) or Toulouse (31) France office.
R&D Software Engineer - Eclipse Tool Development Job Requirements
Desired Candidate Profile:
- You have completed a BS or MS in Computer Science
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience in the development of professional software using Eclipse Plug ins and large Java or C/C++ projects
Required skills: - Strong programming skills and practical experience in Java, Eclipse plug-in development (not just as an Eclipse end-user), modeling (UML) and C++
- Experience with the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF), the Eclipse Graphical Modeling Framework (GMF), Model Driven Development (MDD), Model Driven Architecture (MDA), Domain Specific Language (DSL), and code-generation would be highly appreciated
- Good communication skills, good spoken & written English
- Experience with configuration management tools (like GIT or SVN) and bug tracking tools
- Understanding of the entire software development lifecycle
