We are searching for a colleague for the following position: Performance QA Engineer for Mail & Media Products in our Bucharest team.
Tasks
What will you do?
You willÂ…
- Be responsible for planning and conduction of all quality assurance measures for products under test
- Be responsible for quality risk assessment for products
- Review concepts, requirement specifications and technical documentation for accuracy
- Design regression, functional, performance, integration tests for systems under test
- Be responsible for the documentation of test plans, test cases, defects and test reports
- Be responsible for corresponding roll-out recommendations for products
- Provide feedback from your daily work for the deduction of measures to continuously optimize the quality of our products
- Write performance tests for backend modules using jMeter
- Document your work in comments and wiki pages
- Organize your tests to ensure functionality coverage
- Integrate your tests with continuous integration servers
- Report the bugs found by the tests in Bugzilla
Performance QA Engineer for Mail & Media Products Job Requirements
Requirements
If you have/are: ...
- BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in software quality assurance
- Knowledge of performance testing, preferable with jMeter
- Know how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance
- Very good communication skills and a great team player
Would be a plus: - ISTQB certification;
- Knowledge of German language;
- Knowledge of jUnit and maven
- Knowledge of version control systems (Subversion);
- General computer knowledge, for example: SQL, html, java script, java, web services
- Knowledge of tests in the different test levels (component, integration, system and acceptance testing)
