• Own product cost & annual cost-out targets 
• Drive product cost & cycle management strategy, working closely with the Steam Turbine product leader and Cycle leader 
• Launch and lead cost-out activities (DCP, 3P, other programs, etc.), driving cost & cycle positioning on Steam Turbine product line. 
• Drive prioritization and functional resources allocation, remove roadblocks, accelerate whenever possible, develop an integrated approach with Sourcing and Manufacturing on product cost strategy 
• Manage cost in the ITO-Platform and define Cost Models with Sourcing and manufacturing 
• Support cost review during ITO proposal phase 
• Support NPIs during product industrialization phase and NPI cost reduction 
• Provide cost leadership on Steam Turbine product line during regular review with Functional General Managers, Vice Presidents and the CEO; and Annual business planning processes – MGPP (Multi-Generational Product Planning), GPB (Growth Play Book) and S2 Board of Director reviews

Senior Product Manager Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS Degree with Engineering, Science, Business, Economics or related background 
• At least 8 years of professional experience 
• Previous experience in project management or cost management a plus 
• Strong communication skills and cross functional breadth to provide strong leadership and direction to product teams 
• Strong analytical and data-driven skills. Must be able to develop and present new product business cases, cost/benefit analysis, economic modeling, and resourcing plans 
• English fluency 
• EU Work Permit

• Ability to energize teams at all levels of the organization and effectively balance multiple initiatives 
• Energetic, assertive, and self-motivated individual to work in a fast paced environment with limited Direction 
• MBA 
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
