Within the Grodan Group we are looking for an experienced 

Recycling Manager
Location: Roermond

As Recycling Manager you are responsible for the optimal re-use of our end of life material by maintaining and implementing new end of life solutions for the products of Grodan Group world-wide. You work closely together a.o. with the departments Product Development and Sales to implement the best end of life solutions, together with external partners.

You will report functionally to the Sustainability Manager and hierarchically to the Director Marketing & Development.

The main responsibilities for you in this challenging, international position are:
• Define, implement and maintain the Grodan Group recycling strategy.
• Implement the end of life solutions in the various geographical markets, worldwide.
• Implement new end of life solutions and technologies.
• Support local Grodan staff and partners by providing information and guidance related to local end of life solutions according to relevant legislation and available technologies. 
• Develop and maintain relations with both internal and external partners and knowledge networks in the fields of waste handling and recycling.
• Report the key figures related to recycling volumes and performance.
• Monitor the relevant developments in the recycling market, new technical developments and legislation.
• Initiate and implement certification and classification of end of life solutions for Grodan.

Recycling Manager Job Requirements

To successfully fulfill this position you have:
• A Master in Science degree, preferably in the area of waste/recycling/environmental management, or equal knowledge gained through work experience.
• Broad experience in a comparable position and preferably in an international context.
• Knowledge of relevant waste/end of life/environmental legislation.
• An established network in the recycling and waste handling industries would be an advantage.
• Experience in project management.
• A proven ability to work in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment.
• Self-supporting, analytical and practical in problem solving.
• This position may require extensive foreign travel. 
• Excellent communication skills in English (both verbally and written).
