Senior Embedded Software Engineer Job Description

The embedded SW-team is part of our R&D department for automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains. The embedded SW-team is responsible for the embedded software of our transmission control units (TCU’s). Increasingly more features are being implemented in SW.
You will be responsible for the overall architecture, overall design and implementation of software functionality, including automated test set-up.
You will be the first point of contact for software related issues.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer Job Requirements

University degree in applicable field or equivalent through proven experience.
5-7 years experience in embedded (real-time) software, automotive is considered a plus.
Experience in a hard real-time embedded environment.
Knowledge of formal design methods, design for testability.
Excellent, hands-on knowledge of embedded ‘C’, and recent micro controller architectures.
Ability to work with electronic test equipment to trace hardware / software integration problems.
