My client is one of the main aerospace companies in Belgium. It has built an extensive and varied know-how in designing, building and upgrading large and complex elements for aircraft and space launchers.

What does Gentis require from a A350 F&DT certification engineer?

• Experience in FEM results interpretation and FEM upgrade from tests results
• Able to size metallic structures, as well from static as fatigue and damage tolerance aspect
• Experience in big Aircraft Manufacturer’s tools for dimensioning (Nastran, tools for extraction of FEM results, tools for static & F&DT)
• Good knowledge of Excel (macros creation, ...)
• Able to produce very automised and optimised certification notes user friendly enough to be consulted by MRB people when justifying concessions
• ACD6s experience
• Experience in creation and justification of SRM parts is a “plus”
• Ability to synthesise his work for presentation to SA people or to Customer
• Ability to follow (be the focal point) subcontracted stress activities
• Still have DTC (design to cost) and weight reduction approach when analysing design, methods and requirements
• Good knowledge of English and French
