Process Engineer
You are an experienced process engineer, looking for the next step in your career. Your knowledge and practical experience is highly developed. Your Work
• As a process engineer you take overall responsibility for the process and process control functionality for projects in the oil, gas and (petro-) chemical industry.
• Typical tasks are assisting, preparing, checking and approving of basis of engineering and design, operating philosophies, safeguarding philosophies and control philosophies.
• In general this means generating of:
- PFD’s, P&ID’s, heat and material balances, processs equipment datasheets, equipment & line lists
- material selection, determination of design conditions
- calculations for relief-valves, control-valves, depressurizing, line sizing & pressure drops
- cause and effect diagrams, vendor info review
- etc.
Your background
• Bsc. / Msc. Degree in Chemical Engineering;
• Relevant work experience with an international EPC contractor as Process Engineer;
• Experience in executing projects for refinery or (petro)chemical clients;
• Experience with Hysis and / or Aspen;
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
In addition to a solid education focusing on process design and/or process control, a strong set of personal competencies is a prerequisite for a successful process engineer.
