Logistics consultant Job Description

The main responsibilities of a Logistics consultant are:

As a logistics consultant you will be responsible for the physical and administrative reception of goods that are delivered by the suppliers of our client to the warehouse. These goods need to be shipped to the end customers abroad. For the reception of the goods you will  need to compare different sources to verify that the goods delivered are the ones that were initially ordered. Once check has been done goods need to be shipped out via couriers to different countries. Delivery documents need to be created for the shipments to the end customers. For an important  contract you will  need to go to the customer in Brussels, as well as abroad to deliver equipment and to pick up old equipment.

What does Gentis require of a Logistic Consultant:

• You have previous logistics experience
• You have some technical knowledge or you are at least ICT minded
• You are organized in your work
• You have strong Administrative skills
• You have no “back” problems (you are able to do physical work)
• You have a Driver license
• You are willing to travel
• You are Stress resistant
• You are an excellent communicator, French and English are a Must
