PDMS Architect Job Description

Our client is an international, multidisciplinary consultancy firm, which over the years has been specializing in the onsite and in-house engineering of multidisciplinary projects form conceptual design to the validation. Main focus of the company is the Industry, Energy and the Oil & Gas sector. For several positions within this company we are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers. They are about to introduce a new project in which they will stimulate quality and a more efficient way of doing projects. For this they want to develop rules and procedures to ensure and increase their quality level for the projects. To ensure this, they want to create on system in which all data is combined form the ERP, PLM and SCM. 

This system will be accessible to everybody to make a central database to ensure a more efficient and effective foundation for the start of every project.

PDMS Architect Job Requirements

Experience and education Translation of business requirements by using complex methods and models to determine suitable reporting and data modelling solutions; 

• Design, create and execute solutions for operational and business intelligence needs;
• Set up of databases, maintenance, tuning and analysis;
• Supporting of project members in their operational work;
• Quality Assurance;
• Ability and will to improve skills, frameworks, and programming languages;
• Analytic, team player and excellent command of the English language;
• The ability to extract information form existing databases from the business;
• Experience with database administration and database architecture;
• Expert in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQL Server;
• Good knowledge of IT, from middleware, web protocols, networking, operating systems (Unix/Windows), server hardware, storage, databases, scalability, performance, configuration to change management;
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry;
• Minimum of 5 years experience developing relational databases or object oriented solutions.
