International Field Service Engineers Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer you are responsible for the installation and maintenance of machines at our customers worldwide. Projects range from new installations, maintenance, to troubleshooting.

Marel provides production lines which can consist of 40 different modules that are mechanically and electrically very sophisticated. With your insight and analytical skills you provide the best performance for the customer.

It is up to the service department to service our customers with good and timely solutions.In your role as Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for:

• •Preparing installations• 
• Commissioning of installations all over the world• 
• Trouble shooting• 
• Carrying out after care visits• 
• For larger projects, you will direct local employees• 
• Communicate with customers on progress 
• You take care of the training of the customer.

International Field Service Engineers Job Requirements

As successful Field Service Engineer you will have:• 

• A technical college level in electrical, industrial or mechanical engineering• 
• A solid, self-reliant personality• 
• Analytically strong with a capacity to solve problems• 
• You will have a hands-on mentality, you will be flexible and resistant to stress 
• Prepared to travel (+/-50%) 
• Languages: ability to speak English.
