IT Infrastructure / Applications Specialist Job Description

Arion is looking for an experienced IT specialist to provide international support in all areas of IT and take the lead on IT initiatives according to the needs of a rapidly growing, international company. 
The ideal candidate must be able to see the big picture and drive the organization towards greater IT goals, but also have the ability to tackle complex technical problems. 

You are the centralized interface among the international users and external providers. You are responsible for infrastructure support, applications support and projects. 

Infrastructure: 
IT service requests through IT helpdesk in supporting all areas of IT infrastructure including e-mail, network, system, hosting, storage, telephone, IT facility and PC. 
Provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities. 
Manage the development and implementation of information security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to maintain compliance with relevant security standards. 

Applications:

• Deliver technical support for Exact software application.
• Understand high-level technologies and help to interpret feedback from end users or address other issues as necessary.
• Making sure that the existing software application Exact is working well, is being used efficiently and meets all criteria.
• Promote improvements in the use of Arion’s software as well as developing system enhancements to internal systems.
• Interface between the needs of the organization and external partners.

IT Infrastructure / Applications Specialist Job Requirements

Your profile

• Minimum bachelor level in IT Management
• International experience
• Excellent stakeholder management expertise, with the ability to manage expectations successfully
• Proven management of the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including; servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware and software.
• Extensive application support experience with ERP and CRM systems, preferably Exact
• Excellent project management skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing)
• Strong analytical and persuasive skills. You know how to inspire people
• Ability to bring innovative solutions and work independently in a result driven culture
