Senior Engineer Cost Analysis (m/w) Job Description

Tasks:

Performance of workshops for cost structure, structure-analysis and calculations in correlation with Supplier Management to identify cost improvement opportunities and to launch cost reduction projects
Head implementation by supporting suppliers in realization of identified cost reduction opportunities in close cooperation with strategic Buyers to assure improved pricing after implementation of agreed cost reduction measures
Initiate and drive Design to Cost activities for purchased parts together with cross-functional team of Purchasing, Engineering and Quality Division
Establish and conduct supply value stream management analysis and apply methodology across the complete inbound supply chain, seeking cost improvement potentials by streamlining inefficient supply chain elements.
Support Cost Engineering initiatives within the ICSI organization by applying value analysis methods for cost driving buy components and internal value added processes

Senior Engineer Cost Analysis (m/w) Job Requirements

Requirements:

Graduation as Master or Bachelor of Business and Engineering, Engineering or similar education
At least three years professional experience in the field of Design, Application or Project Management in turbocharger industry
Experience in Project Management preferable
Fluent business english language skills
Strong ability to work in a team, target-oriented way of working and reliability
willingness for business travelling
