Your Daily Business

• Build the best team, by selecting the right team members
• Do so by
• Supporting HR with hiring new developers
• Perform screenings, job interviews and tests of applicants
• Constantly re-evaluating current team members

• Develop team by organising trainings and further developing the individuals
• Form the team, organise team building events etc. to keep them motivated
• Be technical leader of the team by providing technical guidance

• Ensure smooth on-boarding of new team members
• Evaluate team members on technical and social basis and hold feedback talks with them
• Build the best suitable processes for the team e.g. kanban, scrum or xp
• Define KPIs to measure the performance of the team
• Give orientation and align the team to the company goals
• Provide a vision and strategy and cultivate the shopgate spirit
• Take care of the internal knowledge transfer e.g. internal trainings

Developer Team Lead (m/f) Job Requirements

This should be helpful

• 5+ years of experience in developing, preferably in the field of e-commerce, e-payment, m-commerce services or other related fields
• Experience with handling a team and leading people
• Excellent knowledge of the programming language and associated technologies of the team
• Very good knowledge of software architecture for big projects (Software Design Principles, Design Patterns)

• Ability to work under pressure without losing sight of the important things
• Very good communication skills as well as high problem solving and conflict handling skills
• Professional English skills, German is optional
