About the job

• Develop, test, and deploy complex web applications and modules for our website
• Manage software development projects, including planning, tracking and executing software architecture
• Improve usability and performance to scale to a large global deployment

• Constantly improve the quality of code and processes
• Enforce best practices and optimize work flows
• Close cooperation with other departments (e.g. product management)

Senior PHP Developer (m/f) – location Berlin Job Requirements

Who we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent professional education
• Proficiency in programming with PHP5 OOP and MySQL databases in a test-driven environment; solid Javascript experience; solid experience with at least one other framework/language combination
• Track record of several successful projects on Symfony2 in leading roles; experience with stakeholder management; proven ability to get things done

• Proficiency in designing and validating solutions in UML
• Experience with banking integrations and complex calculations
• Experience with mentoring less experienced developers
• Excellent English skills; German is a plus
