Aerospace Stress Engineer - Lucerne Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer of high performance, special-purpose aircraft, are currently in need of an aerospace structural analysis engineer, experienced in very light-weight composite materials.

You will be responsible for:

analysis of Carbon Fibre and other composite materials using Nastran, Patran, FEMAP, and CATIA.
A critical part of this position therefore will be FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and failure testing.

On offer is a salary of between 90,000 and 100,000 CHF depending on experience.

Aerospace Stress Engineer - Lucerne Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

10 years of composite structural analysis within the aerospace sector
speak fluent English and German, although German is not an absolute requirement.
Experience with the FEMAP and Nastran will be particularly advantageous and a university level education is a must.
Knowledge of light-weight composite materials will also be particularly advantageous.
