Automotive Product Engineer Job Description

Vacancy information:

The Product Engineer is working within a project team to supply insights and proven data on the design that match the technical (and economical) requirements of the project goals. (Quality, time, budget) The purpose is to provide a solid basis for the design. To achieve this you will use FEM tools like Abaqus and/or Ansys and perform data analyses in tools like Matlab (Simulink) and/or Python.
 
To be successful in this position you need to have an open mind and willing to dive deep into the details. As you will be working in a team you need not only to be proactive and self-propelling, but also be able to think along with your teammates and support them with the knowledge that you have gathered.

Automotive Product Engineer Job Requirements

Vacancy demands:

• Analytical and able to solve unknown problems
• Able to solve problems in a well-structured fashion
• Team player
• Able to switch quickly between tasks and projects
• Good communicative skills; verbal and in writing
• BSc or MSc educational level with a focus on mechanical problems (Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Biomechanical Engineering, etc.)
• Knowledge of one or more: FEM (Abaqus/Ansys), Matlab/Python, statistics, tribology, fatigue,
• Excellent communication in English
