Senior Software Engineer Machine Learning (m/f)
We are offering you an interesting opportunity to work as a Software Engineer (m/f) in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As part of a team, you will develop algorithms and software solutions for innovative driver assistance systems and automated driving. Your development work will focus on the interpretation of events in the vehicle environment and the derivation of sensible and robust driving decisions for the vehicle.
Here, you will be involved in the entire development chain from the requirements analysis and conception to the implementation and validation of your algorithms. You will be using machine learning methods to study predictive models from training data. As an expert, you will select those approaches from the spectrum of modern learning methods that are most suitable for the respective detection tasks.
You will develop strategies for the pre-preparation of data as well as for the optimisation of training parameters.
In addition, you will also work closely with the series implementation of the algorithms that run in the vehicle after a completed training phase. The continuous validation of the performance of the methods developed by you in a simulation environment as well as in the vehicle rounds off your exciting range of activities.
You should have:
University degree in information technology, mathematics, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study.
Expert knowledge in machine learning (deep learning approaches such as convolutional neural networks, recurrent neural networks, etc.) from scientific or industrial professional experience.
Knowledge of commercial or freely available libraries on machine learning.
Extensive mathematical knowledge of statistics, numerical analysis and/or optimisation.
Excellent practical knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented software development as well as the C/C ++ programming languages.
Domain expertise in driver assistance would be an advantage.
Enthusiasm for software and automobiles.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Independent approach to work and personal initiative.
