Data Engineer Machine Learning (m/f)

We are offering you an interesting opportunity to work as a Data Engineer (m/f) in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will ensure the availability and quality of the database in which the algorithms for innovative driver assistance functions and automated driving are being developed.

Your tasks will include the conception, implementation and support for solutions from data recording in the test vehicle, the scalable and distributed storage of data, to the integration in diverse applications.

Examples include the automated annotation of data and the training of machine learning methods. In addition, you will define data formats, guidelines and interfaces to enable that all participants (e.g. software developers, testers, statisticians) have task-appropriate and effective access to the data. You will work together in interdisciplinary, agile development teams in a target-oriented manner on software for the future of the automobile.

You should have:
University degree in information technology or a comparable course of study.
Practical knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented software development.
Extensive experience in programming with Java and script languages (Python, etc.).
Experience in the set-up and operation of database systems (SQL, etc.).
Knowledge of distributed, scalable data processing (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
Business-fluent English.
Enthusiasm for software and automobiles.
