Your challenge as Product Specialist
This role is pivotal in the delivery of high quality and high-end products, enabling the company to exceed customer expectations as well as the delivery of added value set out during product definition. And in making sure Canon Regional Sales (RSHQs) organizations will be optimally served delivering “best in class” service to our customers. You are a true technical service product champion in every aspect for one or more Wide Format products developed by Océ.
You are part of a product team steered by a Service Product Manager. Within this team you drive service concepts and quality processes during product development by translating service objectives in technical specifications in conjunction with product development (R&D) and Manufacturing. To realize set service performance targets you define and discuss design requirements with respect to serviceability.
To be successful you liaise next to your key stakeholders at R&D and Manufacturing, also with our International Training Centre (ITC) all to ensure availability of training, documentation tools, parts, instructions and solutions necessary to service your product(s) and systems. You make risks apparent on a product, part, systems and/or process level to safeguard product quality and to (co-)create a successful, winning and value adding product for our customers.
You fully support Canon RSHQ’s during and after the introductory phase and provide technical advice during escalations safeguarding (product) quality standards. During a product’s lifecycle you actively pursue customer/user feedback in order to prevent and solve (quality) issues when they arise, and take action towards your stakeholders to meet expectations. You resolve issues, coordinate problem solving with external parties, and make sure necessary actions that require follow up are taken. You ensure that there is close cooperation with all parties concerned - customers, R&D, Manufacturing, Canon RSHQs - and that adequate solutions are generated that eventually contribute to that great customer satisfaction where Océ service is world famous for.
This position is based in Venlo, the Netherlands. In this role you report to the Manager Service & Support WFPS.
